The IthacaNet Organizing Group invites you to participate in the first of what we hope will be an annual event. Networking Tompkins County--Building Infrastructure, Providing Access, Creating Content will bring together businesses, government agencies, and other organizations in Tompkins County to chart a common course on the Information Superhighway.

A chance to learn and share...

...You will hear how organizations like your own are in the process of computerizing their information and making it available to the people in Tompkins County and the surrounding area.

Many organizations in Tompkins County already have their computers linked to the Internet, and many more are coming on-line every day. At this conference you will hear speakers provide updates on their projects to access the Internet.

The IthacaNet will give a presentation on their new World Wide Web server, and the information already in place. (http://www.ithaca.ny.us/) In addition, network service providers will be on hand to share information about their offerings.

This conference is designed to help organizations in the Tompkins County area exchange information and build cooperation for joint ventures in networking and access. Discussion sessions will focus on developing partnerships to identify common needs and solutions.

Morning coffee and lunch will be provided. Space for this conference is limited, so register early! (Deadline is March 15th.)
