East Hill Flying Club has two roomy hangars. All planes are kept out of the weather!
We have two single-engine, two-place planes we use for training in the private pilot course, and a taildragger for fun and skill building. For a check-out, please download check-out forms for each aircraft: C-152, C-172, Mooney and be prepared for a thorough discussion of systems and performance. We have manuals for each plane for sale at the club.

The 200 horsepower Mooney is a "complex" plane (flaps, variable pitch prop, and retractable landing gear). This makes it suitable for certification of pilots in complex planes as well as the commercial pilot's license. With a true airspeed in excess of 150 kts and loaded with new avionics, it's also great for trips.

Dual alternators and vacuum pumps, (dual engines!) Features slaved HSI and King IFR 89B GPS. An excellent twin trainer, this plane has unfeathering accumulators and brand new props. Unlike many "bargain twins" this plane enjoys meticulous maintenance. Multi-engine page. |
Come try our new "computerized flight training device" (that would be a "simulator" in English), running the Elite software Version 7. This unit is manufactured by Precise Flight Controls. This sturdy unit has single and twin functions with full yoke, rudder, and digital avionics panel. The separate CFI console allows discrete settings for wind, weather and failure modes.... definite trouble! The computer tracks and replays your flight if desired. The radios emulate standard King avionics with normal tune/ID features. This now has the approvals under AC 61-126 for all part 61 and 141 flight training. Pilots training or regaining proficiency can log approaches and hours on this machine. The versatility of this device is truly amazing.
Rental rates for these planes are on our rental rates page.
