About TBCR

Tavi Border Collie Rescue is currently doing referrals and listing dogs on our web site on behalf of owners and animal shelters. TBCR is not fostering dogs at this time.

TBCR is a small, dedicated operation. We -- Chuck and Beth Goelzer Lyons and a group of dedicated volunteers -- help find homes for Border Collies who are in shelters and with owners who can't keep them anymore.

We also provide information and help to potential and current owners of Border Collies, and we help other Border Collie rescuers with their efforts.

We no longer are able to foster dogs ourselves, but we try to find out as much as possible about each dog that we list on this web site, and we meet the dogs who are in our area.

Please note that the ultimate decision on adoptions is made by the people who have the dog and the people who hope to adopt the dog. We do not play any role in that decision.
